Geisinger guest services executive honored by Pennsylvania State University

DANVILLE, Pa. – Bruce Thomas, associate vice president, Guest Services, Geisinger Health System (GHS), was recently named Penn State Hotel and Restaurant Society (PSHRS) Alumnus of the Year.

“I am extremely honored to receive such a humbling recognition from this society - an organization comprised of many talented and successful individuals in the hospitality profession,” said Thomas.

Thomas, a 1980 graduate of Pennsylvania State University, is a current PSHRS member and Board affiliate and past treasurer. He will receive the award at the annual PSHRS Alumni Awards Reception on Wednesday, Oct. 5, in State College, Pa.

PSHRS is an Affiliate Program Group of the Penn State Alumni Association and the College of Health and Human Development Alumni Society.
