Film to accommodate children with special needs

LEWISBURG, Pa. – As part of Geisinger’s Autism & Developmental Medicine Institute’s (ADMI) Community Outreach and Family Support initiative, ADMI and The Campus Theatre are offering children with special developmental needs and their families a chance to experience the joy of seeing movies on the big screen.
The Sensory Friendly Film Series will continue on Sunday, June 22 with the animated movie “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs” at the Campus Theatre, 413 Market Street, Lewisburg. Doors open at 1:30 p.m. with planned activities for children and parents. The movie begins at 2 p.m.
There is no charge to attend films in this series. Donations will be accepted by the theatre to fund future screenings. Those wishing to attend must RSVP to Megan Epler by calling 570-522-6281 or emailing email@example.com.
The June movie is being sponsored by New Story, which offers schools and services to provide environments where children with the most serious and complex educational and behavioral challenges have the opportunity to live high-quality and meaningful lives.
