Sept. 1, 2009, DANVILLE – Two physicians have joined Geisinger Medical Center’s Emergency Department.
Eric Maur, M.D., recently completed his emergency medicine residency at GMC. Prior to the residency, he served as general medical officer at the Naval Aerospace Medical Institute in Pensacola, Fla., and the 3rd Marine Regiment in Kaneohe, Hawaii.
Dr. Maur also completed a pediatrics residency at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu following his graduation from MCP Hahnemann University School of Medicine in Philadelphia.
Christopher J. Exner, M.D., board-certified in emergency medicine, comes to Geisinger from Chicago, where he was an emergency physician at St. Anthony Hospital and a clinical instructor at the University of Illinois.
He received his medical degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, and completed his residency in emergency medicine at McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University.
