Sept. 1, 2009, STATE COLLEGE – Dermatologists Lorraine Rosamilia, M.D., (left) and Stacy Klepeiss, M.D., will provide pediatric and adult dermatological services at Geisinger-Scenery Park, including medical dermatology (acne, rosacea, rashes/eczema/psoriasis) and skin cancer, including mole checks.
Both Drs. Klepeiss and Rosamilia received their medical degrees from The Pennsylvania State University Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in 2005, where they also completed their residencies in dermatology.
Dr. Klepeiss has earned numerous awards including, most recently, the Dean’s Award for Scholarly Achievement.
Dr. Rosamilia’s many awards include the Penn State Department of Internal Medicine Preliminary year “Intern of the Year.”
Both Dr. Klepeiss and Dr. Rosamilia have published multiple research articles in the field of dermatology. Dr Klepeiss' articles have addressed infection and moles in elderly patients and whether sun protection is actually harmful to people. Dr. Rosamilia's research has involved treatments for moderate to severe acne and skin problems in women.
