WEST BRUNSWICK TOWNSHIP, Pa. – Effective Monday, Aug. 5, the Geisinger–Orwigsburg medical clinic relocated to a new office at 300 Hollywood Blvd., Orwigsburg. Patients of family medicine physicians Benjamin Darhun, M.D., Anita Kozlowski, D.O., Mackenzie Mady, D.O., and Marlene Terlingo, D.O., internal medicine physician Carolyn Houk, M.D., and pediatrician Donald Moyer, D.O., can report to their previously scheduled appointments at the new location.
The newly constructed facility is located in the new Villages at Deer Lake development in West Brunswick Township off Route 61 (at the site of the former Deer Lake drive-in movie theater) and replaces the clinic at 200 Pinebrook Place in Orwigsburg.
Primary care services, including family medicine, internal medicine and pediatrics, as well as laboratory services continue in the new clinic. The site features a new CareSite Pharmacy and X-ray capabilities.
“A CareSite Pharmacy and radiology services were added to give our patients a convenient, one-stop experience when they come in for a doctor’s visit,” said Carolyn Houk, M.D., department medical director, community practice, Schuylkill County. “With the increased space and new services, we can open our doors wider to welcome new patients of all ages.”
The new, 17,000 square-foot building is built to Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) standards. The property was developed by Fanelli Group Properties, LLC of Pottsville. The building was designed by architecture firm Borton Lawson of Bethlehem and Wilkes-Barre, and constructed by L&K Construction Inc. of Pottsville.
