Mifflinburg Area High School cheerleaders and community members presented a check for $7,229.28 to the Geisinger Cancer Institute during a pre-game ceremony before Mifflinburg’s final home football game on Friday, Nov. 1. Fundraising efforts at Mifflinburg Area High School have now contributed nearly $13,000 to Geisinger Cancer Services over the past two years. The check presentation included cheerleaders and their coaches, members of the Interact Club and the owners of Green Ridge Graphics , who made 3,500 “Cats for the Cure” pink t-shirts (see photo) that were sold to raise funds this fall.
