FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
DANVILLE, Pa. – Who will be the winner of Medline’s national “Pink Glove Dance” video competition? Geisinger Health System’s entry was among the leaders throughout the competition.
Members of the public are invited to participate in the results announcement for Geisinger’s entry and appear on national television on Friday, Nov. 15, from 6 to 8 a.m., at the Pine Barn Inn Banquet Room, 1 Pine Barn Place.
For the second consecutive year, Geisinger participated in the annual “Pink Glove Dance” competition held by Medline in support of breast cancer awareness and prevention. Online voting ended Friday, Nov. 8. The winner of the competition will receive $25,000 for a local breast cancer charity of its choice. Geisinger, which produced the video to pay tribute to its employees, community and cancer survivors everywhere, selected the American Cancer Societies of central and northeastern Pennsylvania as its charities.
The video’s producers are seeking a large crowd of pink glove dancers and would like anyone who participated in the video to wear their pink and be taught one last dance move. Dancers should be in place by 6 a.m. to practice the moves before performing it during a national news segment at 7 a.m. The first 250 dancers will receive a free commemorative T-shirt.
The results of the competition will be revealed live on “Fox and Friends” on the Fox News Channel between 7 and 8 a.m. Friday.
