FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
LEWISBURG, Pa. – The primary goal of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) is to provide Americans with access to high-quality, affordable health insurance. This is particularly meaningful to individuals and families who have lost their health insurance coverage due to unemployment or have a pre-existing condition that prevents them from getting coverage.
To help clarify these details for people in the community, representatives from Geisinger’s Trusted Advisor program will host a discussion about the ACA on Monday, Dec. 9 at 6 p.m. at the Public Library of Union County, 255 Reitz Blvd., Lewisburg.
Christy L. Pehanich, MHSA, FHFMA, CPC, associate vice president, revenue management, Geisinger Health System, and George Webby, MBA, manager, revenue cycle, Geisinger Health System, will be on hand to educate individuals and families about the ACA and how it will affect them as they begin to navigate the changes in health care resulting from the ACA.
To register for this free event, call 1-800-275-6401 and ask for “Carelink” or visit www.geisinger.org/events.
