DANVILLE, PA – Geisinger Medical Center officials conducted a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new endoscopy suite at the Hospital for Advanced Medicine (HfAM) on Friday, April 19.
The new, 10-room, 21,000-square-foot endoscopy suite on the first floor of the HfAM will provide additional room for the safe and efficient procedural care of both adult and pediatric patients. Endoscopy procedures, which utilize small cameras to explore unreachable areas of the body, are most commonly used for gastrointestinal procedures and colonoscopies.
