Screenings for breast, cervical, colon, prostate and skin cancers available
TUNKHANNOCK, Pa. – Geisinger doctors from Wyoming County are hosting free cancer screenings on Tuesday, Oct. 22 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at Geisinger–Tunkhannock, 110 Trieble Road.
Men and women are encouraged to take advantage of this free cancer screening event. The best defense against any cancer is early detection, and regular screenings can help detect some cancers at an early stage, when it is most treatable. Representatives from Geisinger Health System and Wyoming County Cancer Society will be on hand to help attendees explore cancer resources in the community, such as education, prevention, treatment and support opportunities.
Space is limited. To register for a free screening appointment time, call 1-800-275-6401 and say “CareLink” at the first prompt, or register online at geisinger.org/events by Tuesday, Oct. 15.
