About us

An emphasis on quality care in your community
When you visit Geisinger-Nicholson, you'll feel like you're with family. Our local staff is dedicated to your healthcare needs, right here in your community.

A husband and wife team, our family-practice physicians work together to bring you the very best care. We treat every patient with the individual attention of a family member or lifelong friend. And your convenience is also a top priority, so we offer early-morning, evening and even Saturday hours.

Our physicians also participate in free cancer screenings and other health events throughout the community. They make their mark outside of Wyoming County, too. Every year they travel to a Third World country to provide their medical expertise for people living there.

For all of these reasons, people travel far and wide - even from the state of New York - to get their healthcare from the staff at Geisinger-Nicholson. An easy drive down Route 11, our small clinic is a place you will love to visit for all of your medical needs. Just like home, you're always welcome here.

The CareSite Pharmacies at Geisinger Medical Groups can fill all your prescriptions before you leave your doctor's office. The onsite pharmacy staff is available to address any questions or concerns you may have regarding your pharmacy care. They now offer over 120 medications for $4 (30-day supply), flavored medications for children and free local delivery. You can even order refills by calling the pharmacy or visiting www.caresiterx.com.

A message from John Gardner, MD, Medical Director, Geisinger Medical Groups in Luzerne and Wyoming counties.

Geisinger's Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Program, staffed by CPSL physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants, provides both acute and transitional care to patients living in area nursing homes, enhancing the care they already receive from nursing home staff.  The SNF Program streamlines patient transition from physician offices or hospitals to the nursing home and improves patient outcomes to reduce the need for hospitalization, working closely with nursing home staff to coordinate and improve patient care.
