The Best of Both Worlds
At Geisinger-Kingston, we offer both quality and convenience for your family's medical care. For more than a dozen years, our family practice physicians have been providing expert healthcare for our community. When your child needs a check-up for school or when you need a physical, we've got you covered. We also bring specialty medical services here, where you live, work and go to school.

In addition, we enjoy meeting you and your family out in the community. You may have seen us during physicals for Wilkes-Barre schools or participating in health and safety events such as the YMCA Healthy Kids program.

We care for many of your friends, neighbors and family each year, and we enjoy being a part of our community's health.

The CareSite Pharmacies at Geisinger Medical Groups can fill all your prescriptions before you leave your doctor's office. The onsite pharmacy staff is available to address any questions or concerns you may have regarding your pharmacy care. They now offer over 120 medications for $4 (30-day supply), flavored medications for children and free local delivery. You can even order refills by calling the pharmacy or visiting www.caresiterx.com.

ProvenHealth Navigator
When you need help managing a chronic, complex, or newly diagnosed medical condition, turn to Geisinger's ProvenHealth Navigator program.

Our ProvenHealth Navigator program is a free program designed to enhance the care of Geisinger Gold members, and reduce hospitalizations and trips to the emergency room. A ProvenHealth Navigator nurse case manager will be assigned to you, and can coordinate all of your care, develop a care plan specifically for you, review your medications, make sure you get all the necessary check-ups and screenings recommended for your age and connect you with community resources, if needed.

Geisinger's Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Program, staffed by CPSL physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants, provides both acute and transitional care to patients living in area nursing homes, enhancing the care they already receive from nursing home staff.  The SNF Program streamlines patient transition from physician offices or hospitals to the nursing home and improves patient outcomes to reduce the need for hospitalization, working closely with nursing home staff to coordinate and improve patient care.
