Arvind Suthar, M.D., FACC, and Prakash Patel, M.D., FACC, cardiologists with Geisinger Cardiology-Lewistown, have passed the recertification board examination of nuclear cardiology and have met the requirements for renewal of certification in nuclear cardiology from the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology.
Dr. Suthar received his medical degree from NHL Municipal Medical College, Gujarat, India, in 1978 and completed his residency at St. Mary’s Hospital, Brooklyn, N.Y. in 1982. He completed a fellowship in cardiology at Geisinger Medical Center in 1985. Dr. Suthar is board-certified in cardiology and adult echocardiography.
